NEWS ROUNDUP

ACQUISITION: AdventHealth acquires Wesley Chapel Wellness Plaza in Tampa. CBRE arranged the sale of the 95,896 SF Wellness Plaza to AdventHealth Wesley Chapel. The on-campus MOB, built in 2012, is connected to the hospital and offers a range of outpatient services. Chris Bodnar, Brannan Knott, Zack Holderman, Cole Reethof, Trent Jemmett and Jesse Greshin from CBRE’s U.S. Healthcare Capital Markets team represented the seller in the transaction.

ACQUISITION: Colliers U.S. Healthcare Capital Markets arranges the sale of Decatur Medical Plaza. The three-story, 42,921 SF MOB is fully leased to an impressive roster of tenants including, Emory Healthcare and private equity-backed physician groups. Jordan Selbiger, Eric Ortiz, Josiah Gunter, and David Hochstrasser from Colliers U.S. Healthcare Capital Markets team represented the seller in the transaction.

DEVELOPMENT: AdventHealth Redmond begins construction on Heart & Vascular Institute in Rome, GA. The 40,000 SF facility is set for completion in March 2026, and will offer cardiothoracic surgery, cardiac rehab, outpatient cardiac testing and lab services, reinforcing AdventHealth’s regional presence in Northwest Georgia and Northeast Alabama. CEO Isaac Sendros represented AdventHealth Redmond.

DEVELOPMENT: Robins & Morton breaks ground on MOB in Tupelo, MS. Designed by McCarty Architects, the three-story, 46,500 SF Crossover Medical Office Building for North Mississippi Medical Center is set for completion in 2026. The facility will offer urgent care, dermatology, retina services, and the region’s first pediatric urgent care. CEO Shane Spees Operations Manager Ashley Dyer represented Robins and Morton.

FINANCING: Berkadia Medical & Life Sciences secures $75M loan for Platinum Medical Center in Dearborn, MI. Berkadia arranged acquisition financing for the three-story 79,777 SF surgery center and MOB on behalf of Chicago Pacific Founders Healthcare Real Estate. The $75M pooled loan marks the second seed asset in the facility. Sabrina Solomiany and Patrick Abeln served as the exclusive advisors to CPF HCRE.
