CBRE arranges the sale of MOB in Newport Beach.

ACQUISITION: CBRE arranges the sale of MOB in Newport Beach. Located at 1419 Superior Avenue in Newport Beach, the 8,935 SF property was sold by Equity Enterprises Ltd. to a local owner-user for $5 million. CBRE’s Anthony DeLorenzo, Sammy Cemo, Bryan Johnson, and Harry Su represented the seller. Located across from Hoag Newport Beach, a 498-bed acute care hospital, the building was 62% leased to four tenants at the time of sale.

Marcus & Millichap Brokers the sale-leaseback of MOB in Metro Detroit.

ACQUISITION: Marcus & Millichap Brokers the sale-leaseback of MOB in Metro Detroit. Located at 2940 Crooks Road in Rochester Hills, the 9,231 SF property is leased to Stonebrooke Family Physicians. Seth Haron, Darin Gross, and Ashish Vakhariya of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller and secured the buyer. The building, constructed in 2005, includes 7,431 SF of clinical space and 1,800 SF of administrative space.

HCA Healthcare breaks ground on medical facility in North Charleston, S.C.

DEVELOPMENT: HCA Healthcare breaks ground on medical facility in North Charleston, S.C. Designed by Baker Barrios Architects, the 80,000 SF, four-story building, HCA Trident Medical Center, will feature clinical offices for cardiology, neurology, and orthopedics, as well as a cardiac rehabilitation center and administrative spaces. The design allows for a future 40,000 SF vertical expansion.

AST completes healthcare project in New Brunswick, N.J.

DEVELOPMENT: AST completes healthcare project in New Brunswick, N.J. Located within the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital campus, the 229,000 SF, 15-story ambulatory medical pavilion enhances outpatient access and supports RWJBarnabas Health services. Project partners included Jarmel Kizel (architect), O’Donnell & Naccarato (structural engineer), Langan (civil engineer), and Torcon Inc. (general contractor and construction manager).

JLL arranges $13.4M refinancing for MOB in Goodyear, Arizona.

FINANCING: JLL arranges $13.4M refinancing for MOB in Goodyear, Arizona. Daniel Digerness of JLL secured the fixed-rate loan through a national healthcare real estate lender on behalf of PMB to refinance Goodyear Medical Plaza, a Class A medical office building in Goodyear. Redeveloped in 2019 from a former movie theater, the 47,483 SF building is 99 percent leased, with Abrazo Health occupying 49 percent. The facility provides orthopedic, cardiology, imaging, internal medicine, pain management, and physical therapy services.
