NEWS ROUNDUP

ACQUISITION: Farpoint Development and The Landes Group acquire Pavilion A, a nearly 175,000 SF on-campus MOB at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, Illinois, from PGIM Real Estate. The Class A asset, built in 2012, is 96% occupied with a weighted average lease term exceeding 12 years. Silver Cross is the largest tenant, alongside Duly Health and Care, DaVita, Rush University Medical Center, and University of Chicago Medicine. The acquisition was completed by Farpoint Development and The Landes Group as part of their growing healthcare real estate partnership. Vince Pryor, Alex Katz, and Caleb Landes were involved in the transaction.

EXPANSION: Aspirus Health is nearing completion of a $5 million renovation and expansion of the Aspirus Houghton Clinic. The expansion adds 13 exam rooms and two procedure rooms, along with a redesigned registration and waiting area to improve patient flow and experience. Existing spaces have also been modernized to support more efficient, coordinated care delivery. Aspirus has also introduced a new drive-through pharmacy at the site. Deanna Hayes and Abby Johnson of Aspirus Health highlighted the expansion as a strategic investment to meet growing regional demand, improve efficiency, and ensure continued access to high-quality care close to home.

DEVELOPMENT: UNC Health Pardee celebrates the ribbon cutting of its new MOB at 277 N. Broad St. on the Brevard Campus. Pardee BlueMD will begin seeing primary care patients at the location starting March 9, relocating from Asheville Hwy. Pardee Rx – Brevard, a community pharmacy with retail and drive-thru service, is set to open March 23. Additional services, including outpatient infusion from Pardee Cancer Center, will launch in April. Pardee BlueMD Behavioral Health will relocate to the new campus in April, while Pardee Surgical Associates Brevard and Pardee Neurology Associates will remain at their current Asheville Hwy. location.
