NEWS ROUNDUP

DISPOSITION: Viking Medical Center sells a newly completed Class A, 43,500 SF MOB at 1425 E. Glendale Blvd. in Valparaiso, Indiana. The property, marketed by McColly Bennett Commercial Advantage, was acquired by an undisclosed buyer that plans to use the entire facility to support future growth. Originally envisioned as a dialysis center, the building was completed by Viking Medical Center with Hasse Construction after acquiring the unfinished project. Adriana Gomez and Jeff Bennett of McColly Bennett Commercial Advantage represented Viking Medical Center in the disposition.

DISPOSITION: A group of investors and physicians affiliated with Cardiovascular Specialty Care Center sells a newly constructed 10,690 SF MOB in Covington, Louisiana, for $8.811M. The fully leased property was acquired by Montecito Medical and will continue operating as a cardiovascular surgery center under a long-term triple-net lease. Seth Haron, Ashish Vakhariya and Darin Gross of Marcus & Millichap, in association with Steve Greer, represented the seller and procured the buyer in the disposition.

ACQUISITION: Montecito Medical acquires a 36,000 SF specialty MOB in Mayfield Heights, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland. The fully leased property is anchored by Cleveland Orthopedic and Spine Institute and includes the Northern Ohio Surgery Center, an ambulatory surgery center operated through a joint venture between Surgery Partners and COSI physicians, along with imaging suites. Rus Gudnyy and Chip Conk led the acquisition for Montecito Medical, expanding the company's healthcare real estate portfolio in the Cleveland market.
