An institutional healthcare investor acquires the four-property Spokane Eye Clinic Portfolio totaling approximately 72,000 SF in Spokane, Washington.

ACQUISITION: An institutional healthcare investor acquires the four-property Spokane Eye Clinic Portfolio totaling approximately 72,000 SF in Spokane, Washington. The fully leased portfolio is occupied by Spokane Eye Clinic, a 28-physician practice operating under PRISM Vision Group, a McKesson-backed ophthalmology platform. The properties are leased under long-term triple-net agreements with 2.5% annual rent escalations. Matthews' Michael Moreno, Rahul Chhajed, and Tyler Swade represented the physician-owner sellers in the transaction.

ACQUISITION: BGO and Anchor Health Properties acquire a 40,431 SF Class A MOB in Newnan, Georgia. The nearly fully leased property is anchored by OrthoAtlanta and houses additional providers specializing in ophthalmology, vascular surgery, pediatric gastroenterology, dental care, prosthetics and orthotics, and hospice services. Elliott Sellers of Anchor Health Properties and Kevin Yen of BGO led the acquisition. Michael Lipton of Colliers International represented the seller. Anchor Health Properties will provide asset and property management services for the property.

Broward Health reaches a construction milestone on its new MOB and parking garage at Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

DEVELOPMENT: Broward Health reaches a construction milestone on its new MOB and parking garage at Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The eight-story, 188,000 SF MOB will feature 129 exam rooms, with capacity to expand to 237, and will house cardiovascular services, pulmonology, primary care, gastroenterology, neuroscience and women's services. A seven-story, 300,000 SF parking garage with nearly 700 spaces is also being developed. Both projects are scheduled for completion in 2027. Shane Strum and Manny Linares are leading the expansion for Broward Health. The Beck Group, DMZ Architects, Remedy Medical Properties, and DPR Construction are project partners on the development.
