NEWS ROUNDUP

ACQUISITION: Newmark retains as the exclusive financial advisor for the sale of the Ventas National MOB Portfolio, a 10-property medical outpatient portfolio totaling 559,070 SF across Northern California and Indianapolis. The portfolio is 94% occupied with a 9.1-year weighted average lease term and is 97% leased to hospital systems, credit tenants, and dominant physician groups. Seven of the 10 assets are single-tenant properties with long-term leases. The portfolio is being marketed free and clear of debt and represents a core collection of on- and off-campus medical office buildings anchored by long-term hospital-affiliated tenants.

DEVELOPMENT: MyMichigan Health will break ground in July 2026 on the Cedar Ridge Building, a 20,000 SF MOB in Standish, Michigan, with completion expected in July 2027. The facility will centralize outpatient services, including the rural health clinic, specialty clinic, Senior Living Solutions, physical therapy and geriatric psychiatry, and will be connected to the hospital to improve patient access and care coordination. Mike Erickson and Rose Goick Saddler are leading the project, with a groundbreaking ceremony scheduled for July 7 at 805 W. Cedar Street.

DEVELOPMENT: Anchor Health Properties celebrates the opening of an 80,000 SF, on-campus multi-specialty MOB on the Orlando Health Watson Clinic Lakeland Highlands Hospital campus in Lakeland, Florida. The facility, which opened to patients on June 15, expands outpatient care and strengthens integration with the adjacent hospital. Orlando Health and Watson Clinic partnered with Anchor Health Properties, which provided development, financing, planning and construction oversight services. Will Foster led the project for Anchor Health Properties. HuntonBrady served as architect, and Hoar Construction was the general contractor.
