NEWS ROUNDUP

ACQUISITION: Flagship Healthcare Properties acquires ASC in Columbia, SC. The 20,131 SF multispecialty ambulatory surgery center is located at 109 Blarney Drive in Columbia, South Carolina. Built in 2000, the fully leased Class A facility features five ORs and serves as home to Palmetto Surgery Center. Flagship will provide property and asset management services. Blake Bratcher represented Flagship in the transaction. Terms were not disclosed.

ACQUISITION: Montecito Medical sells ASC in San Antonio, TX. The fully occupied 11,544 SF American Surgery Center, built in 2019, is operated by Surgery Partners and a local ophthalmologist. CEO Chip Conk represented Montecito Medical in the transaction. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

ACQUISITION: Chicago Pacific Founders acquires MOB for $27.5M in Greenbelt, MD. Maryland Trade Center III, a 192,000 SF medical office building, was acquired with financing from Capital One. Located at 7501 Greenway Center Drive, the 12-story asset, 74% leased and anchored by Luminis Health, offers modern amenities and proximity to Washington, D.C.

DEVELOPMENT: VCU Health breaks ground on 100,000 SF Chesterfield Pavilion. The four-story facility located at 7000 Commons Plaza in Chesterfield County, VA., will include an ambulatory surgery center with four ORs and a medical office building housing VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center and over 45 exam rooms. Construction is set to begin in fall 2025. Joseph P. Casey, Michael Rao, and Marlon Levy represented VCU Health in the groundbreaking. Virginia Del. Mike Cherry was also there.

DEVELOPMENT: Anchor Health Properties celebrates the ribbon cutting of Horizon Professional Center II in Lawrenceville, GA. The new 20,626 SF, single-story, multi-specialty outpatient facility, located near Northside Gwinnett Hospital houses Women’s Group of Gwinnett and US Fertility, expanding women’s healthcare services in the region. All services are set to be fully operational by mid-May 2025. Mervyn Alphonso, Elliott Sellers, and Joe Hackney represented Anchor in the ceremony.
