NEWS ROUNDUP

ACQUISITION: Adoni Property Group acquires Columbia Medical Center for $7.8M in Florham Park, NJ. The fully leased, 19,620 SF, Class A MOB features four tenants, including Atlantic Health and Kiddie Academy, and sits on a 2.37 acre site with direct frontage on Columbia Turnpike. Cushman & Wakefield’s Andrew Schwartz, Jordan Sobel, André Balthazard, and Dan Bottiglieri represented the seller, The Silverman Group, and procured the buyer.

ACQUISITION: Big Sky Medical expands in DFW with Rockwall medical office campus. Big Sky Medical has acquired Lake Pointe Medical Plaza, a two-building, 46,359 SF medical office campus in Rockwall, Texas. Formerly owned by Gault Co., the 1 acre property is part of the Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Lake Pointe campus. The asset was 74% leased at sale, with tenants including Baylor Scott & White affiliates, Pediatrix, and Southwest Neurology.

DEVELOPMENT: Stanford Health Care breaks ground on a new state-of-the-art MOB in Redwood City, CA. Located near Broadway and Woodside Road, the all-electric facility will house primary care, women’s health, cardiovascular care, and other specialties. Designed for flexibility and disaster resilience, it will feature solar panels, EV charging, imaging, outpatient procedures, and a pharmacy. David Entwistle and Timothy Morrison represented Stanford Health. Mayor Elmer Martínez Saballos praised the building’s sustainability. Lloyd Minor and Lisa Gauthier also supported the development.

DEVELOPMENT: Nebraska Medicine announces the relocation and expansion of Grand Island Health Center with new facility. Located at 3553 Prairieview Street in Prairie Commons, the new 66,000 SF facility will occupy two floors of a three-story MOB and offer expanded services including internal medicine, vascular surgery, rheumatology, nephrology, and more. Groundbreaking is set for July 2025, with completion expected by April 2027. Kyle Skiermont and Harris A. Frankel represented Nebraska Medicine, while Isaac Berg and Roger Bullington represented Grand Island Health.

FINANCING: Bulfinch appoints Colliers to lease MOB in Methuen, MA. Colliers’ Stephen Woelfel and John Real will lead leasing efforts in collaboration with Bulfinch’s Michael Wilcox. The 5 Branch St., a 94,325 SF medical office building, anchored by Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, features 2,600 to 33,000 SF of space available for lease.
