ACQUISITION: Flagship Healthcare Properties acquires an ambulatory surgery center at 767 Airport Road in Panama City, Florida. The 10,000 SF, 100% leased, Class A facility is home to Northwest Florida Surgery Center, a multispecialty outpatient center operating since 1995. Gerald Quattlebaum and Blake Bratcher of Flagship Healthcare Properties led the acquisition, completed through Flagship Healthcare Trust (Flagship REIT), which will also provide property and asset management services.

Montecito Medical acquires a health system-affiliated MOB in the Westover Hills area of San Antonio, Texas.

ACQUISITION: Montecito Medical acquires a health system-affiliated MOB in the Westover Hills area of San Antonio, Texas. The property is tenanted by CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic, part of CHRISTUS Health, which operates a nearby 150-bed hospital. Rus Gudnyy, Senior Vice President of Investments, and Chip Conk, CEO of Montecito Medical, led the acquisition — the company’s fourth in Texas since early September.

DEVELOPMENT: Keck Medicine of USC opens its largest and most advanced outpatient facility at 590 S. Fair Oaks Ave. in Pasadena. The new 100,000 SF, four-story MOB features over 15 specialties, including cardiology, oncology, orthopedics, and dermatology. The project was led by Beong-Soo Kim, Rod Hanners, and Smitha Ravipudi of USC Care Medical Group. Designed for LEED Platinum certification, the facility advances USC’s mission of academic excellence and community health while complementing Keck Medicine’s existing 625 S. Fair Oaks Ave. location.

DEVELOPMENT: The University of Miami Health System (UHealth) officially opens the UHealth SoLé Mia Medical Center in North Miami. The seven-story, 363,000 SF facility is UHealth’s largest ambulatory center to date, featuring leading programs from Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, and the Desai Sethi Urology Institute, alongside a new collaboration with the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS). Led by Dipen J. Parekh, M.D., CEO of UHealth, and Joe Echevarria, President of the University of Miami, the project represents a transformative step in bringing world-class academic medicine closer to communities across South Florida.
