NEWS ROUNDUP
ACQUISITION: Healthcare Real Estate Advisors (HREA) arranges the sale of MOB in Southlake, TX. The medical office building is fully leased to Action Behavior Centers, a national autism therapy provider with 300+ centers. Located near Methodist Southlake Medical Center, the property was sold to an all-cash, 1031-exchange buyer within a week of marketing.
ACQUISITION: Woodside Health, in joint venture with Heitman, acquires Sugar Land Physicians Center. Located at 7616 Branford Place, the three-story, 60,000 SF medical office building, previously owned by Money360, is leased to tenants including Gluten Free Society, MDVIP, and MedFlex Spaces. This acquisition marks Woodside Health’s 67th investment since its founding.
ACQUISITION: CREG | Healthcare facilitates the sale of Northwest Florida Surgery Center in Panama City, FL. Located at 767 Airport Road, the 15,225 SF, Class A ambulatory surgery center, fully leased to Northwest Florida Surgery Center in partnership with Surgical Care Affiliates and Advent Health, was acquired by a private REIT.
DEVELOPMENT: Northwestern Medicine opens the Bronzeville Outpatient Center. The 120,000 SF facility is located at 4822 South Cottage Grove Avenue in Chicago. Led by Kimbra Bell, MD, FACP, medical director, the center offers more than 14 specialties, including oncology, pediatrics, cardiology, women’s health, dermatology, and mental health, along with a 7,500 SF community space and local retail.
FINANCING: Montecito Medical Real Estate secures $65.9 million from Capital One to refinance Murfreesboro Medical Clinic. The three-story, 221,000 SF medical outpatient facility is located at 1272 Garrison Drive, close to Highway 41. The 20-acre property is leased to tenants including Pediatrix, Murfreesboro Medical Clinic, and Results Physiotherapy.
